A FAIRYTALE OF CANALS - WELCOME TO VENICE

Whether you’re strolling through the narrow streets and alleys, gliding along the canals in a gondola, or admiring the beauty of St. Mark’s Square, Venice is a destination that will steal your heart.
the romantic getaway you have to try!
It has always been a dream for both Emilie and I to go visit Venice. We were aware that the dream might burst when we hit the streets of thousands and thousands of tourists – but the dream didnt burst at all. Venice is such a beauty of a city with the small narrow alleyways that will always end in a beautiful bridge with a view over the canals. We spend five days of strolling through venice high on love, food and of course prosecco. Not to mention our one day getaway to the nearby islands Burano and Murano where we emptied our pockets for euros in exchange for the most beautiful Murano glass.

What we did, where we stayed, and how we got around
Hotels:
We stayed at Antico Panda which is placed in the center of Venice, just at San Marco Square. It was a large cozy hotel room with the most lovely old man as host. The included breakfeast wasnt fine dining, but it was a easy perfect start to go out and explore on. The price compared to other hotels in center of Venice it is really budget friendly – especially for all you got. Large clean room, bathroom, a great bed and we were lucky to have a cozy view over the canals.
